A hydrating and nourishing oil that is naturally rich in oleic and linoleic acids E.
Both clear and black Castor oils come from the same castor plant but differ in their manufacturing process. While clear castor is simply cold-processed, black castor oil requires the beans to be first roasted and boiled prior to being pressed. When pressed, the burnt ash mixes in with the oil (giving the oil its colour) and this supposed to actually increase the oil’s benefits. Particularly used in hair care to restore edges, revitalize the scalp and soften hair.
Also used in conditioners, soaps and hair creams and treatments.
INCI name: Ricinus communis
Packaged in plastic bottles. Store in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Shelf life is one year from purchase. For external use only.
